Sofienberg music and dance centre, 2018

In this fictional project, Sofienberg church has been transformed into a music and dance center for the population belonging to the district Grünerløkka.

The center contributes to increasing creativity and personal development through contrasting environments and innovative solutions. The music and dance center is 1195 sqm and consists of four different dance studios, a music library, work zones and a café with seating areas.

A ramp that winds between the church's two floors and breaks through the church wall adds a lively expression to the tight and classic church facade.
